One way to help with environment is to start fully recycling and using the rule of three. The rule of three Rs meaning that we need to reduce, recycle and reuse. This needs to be heard at the household level as this will help families with saving money and creating a healthier lifestyle around the house. Teaching the kids to follow this rule is the ultimate goal in preserving our environment because they are our future.
The beauty of recycling is the fact that we are using stuff that was supposed to be wasted. Many of these recycle materials are created into new products which many beginning companies are doing. The biggest concern with today is the amount that is wasted and produced and put out on our planet but by recycling this will be reduced dramatically over the years if we promote the 3R’s.
There are many facilities and plants that do the heavy load of recycling but it also comes down to the individual or household to put the plastics, metals and other such recycle products into the appropriate bins. There is many individuals who still do not recycle and will put these recycle materials straight into the garbage which is then sent to the landfill. Education and promotion is the key to jumpstart a large-scale incentive of recycling.
The difficulty is sometimes knowing what product to put into the recycle bin so it is also up to the companies who make these products to make it visible the labels whether it is recyclable and which category goes into. These labels need to be larger in our opinion such as what tobacco companies do in such countries as Canada where they provide large images on the cigarette packages of the dangers of smoking. Maybe this is what companies need to do is making larger labels telling the consumer to recycle.
